The Silent Chef was formed in 1953 by James M. Linnehan, a prominent Boston caterer. Linnehan ran The Silent Chef until the mid 1970’s. After many years in the food service industry, Kim Luque, Donny and Tory Fait purchased The Silent Chef in 1991.
The family-owned company has established an impressive reputation for pleasing palates for groups large and small. Today the company employs over 60 people and caters hundreds of events with a personal commitment to quality and detail. "We're very proud that every event is customized for each individual client, with the finest ingredients possible, supporting small local businesses," says owner Tory Fait.
The Silent Chef is a company built on integrity, not only towards our clients but also our employees. This commitment is reflected in the service and attention to detail we provide to our customers. As a full service catering company, we hope to make your special celebration an extravaganza to be remembered.
